The Michigan High Speed Internet Office is asking all state residents, local governments and businesses to confirm their internet status through the Federal Communications Commission’s new broadband map by Jan. 13,2023. Over a half-million Michigan residents are estimated to not have access to broadband and having an accurate map can ensure Michigan receives its proper share of $42.5 billion for broadband expansion from recent federal investments.
