ADDITIONAL END OF SEASON TAX HOURS
Friday, December 30th, 9am - 5pm
Saturday, February 11th, 10am - 2pm
Tuesday, February 14th, 9am - 5pm
Summer 2011 taxes if not paid are now past due - beginning September 15th please add 1% per month for each month that your taxes are late. You can continue to pay your summer taxes (with interest) at the township hall until turned over to the County on March 1, 2012.
Tax Bills are mailed two times a year:
Summer taxes are mailed on July 1st and are due by September 14th, 2011
Winter taxes are mailed on December 1st and are due by February 14th, 2012
Summer tax deferment applications forms are available at the office. The form requires applicants to verify that they qualify for the deferment. The form must be completed each year in order to have taxes deferred without penalty.
The form must be filed by September 15th.
These are tax deferments NOT exemptions. If you defer your summer taxes it is wise to keep your bill and remember that summer amounts will not appear on the winter bill. Summer taxes will go delinquent if you fail to pay them when you pay the winter taxes.
