Township Board Rutland Charter Township has a seven member board made up of the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustees. The Rutland Township Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings start at 7:30pm. Planning Commission The Planning Commission is a five member board. The Planning Commission meets twice a month on the second Tuesday and the third Wednesday of the month. Dates sometimes change so be sure to check the calender on the right. Meetings start at 7:30pm. Zoning Board of Appeals - The Zoning Board of Appeals is a five member board.

Board of Review The Board of Review is a three member board. The Board of Review meets on the Tuesday following the first Monday in March. Joint Planning Committee Rutland Charter Twp, Hastings Charter Twp, Carlton Township, City of Hastings, and Barry County - Township's and the City of Hastings each have three member's on the Committee, Barry County has one member.
- The Committee meets the 3rd Monday of each month at the Rutland Twp Hall.
- Meetings generally start at 6:00 p.m.
